BESS exists to promote innovation in teaching, learning and research, so it may specifically advance education in shoulder and elbow surgery and develop the discipline further.
Primarily, we do this by holding an annual conference each June which runs for three days. The conference takes place in a different location each year and is selected by BESS members at our annual general meeting. A group of BESS members make up the ‘local organising committee’ for the meeting and along with our conference organiser, Mr Jai Mistry, we bring together some of the greatest minds in shoulder and elbow surgery to investigate, educate and discuss the discipline.
Last year we visited Coventry's Ricoh Arena. This year we are off to Glasgow's Scottish Event Campus (SEC). Will you join us? For more information on this years annual meeting click here.
